Texas Pinkeye do not have a registered class of seed.

TAM 110, TAM 202, TAM 302, Lockett wheats, Texas Pinkeye Cowpea, and Dallas and TAMO 397 oats have royalties attached to seed sales. Please contact TFSS (940/552-6226) or the Technology Licensing Office (979/847-8682) for additional information.

Foundation seed is distributed on a first come, first served basis. You are encouraged to place your order well in advance of your needed pick up date in order to ensure availability.

Orders for foundation seed can be made by fax or mail by sending requests to:

Please include crop, variety, quantity, and special shipping instructions with your order.

Pickup and Delivery:
Orders may be picked up at our Vernon, Texas facilities on any weekday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. No prior notification of pickup is needed; however, calling at least one day in advance will ensure that we have the material available and are able to provide prompt service. Please feel free to drop in at any time.

Other orders to be delivered are sent by common carrier, FOB collect Vernon, Texas. Small orders (less than 50 pounds) are shipped prepaid UPS and shipping and handling charges are added to invoice. Please notify us of any special shipping instructions at time of order.

Failure to accept the seed ordered will have a negative impact on availability of future allocations by Texas Foundation Seed Service.

Payment Terms:
Net due within 30 days of shipment. 1.5% interest charge per month (18% APR) will be added to any unpaid balance overdue by more than 30 days. A $5.00 charge will be added for each pallet taken with seed.

Warranty:
TEXAS FOUNDATION SEED OF THE TEXAS AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION, A PART OF THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SYSTEM hereafter referred to as "TAMUS", represents that all seed sold is labeled as required by state and federal seed laws and that it conforms to the label description. THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SYSTEM MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, nor does TAMUS assume any obligation with respect to yield, quality, of tolerance to diseases, insects, of growing conditions of the seed of the crop produced therefrom. In no event will we be liable for any amount greater than the purchase price.

Acceptance of the seeds by the buyer constitutes acknowledgment that the limitations and disclaimers herein set forth are conditions of the sale and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding liabilities and the remedy therefore.
